VOCES8 performs Gabriel Fauré's 'Requiem, Op. 48' with the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Barnaby Smith. The performance was filmed at Cadogan Hall, London in 2021 during the height of the pandemic, and this orchestration by Taylor Scott Davis was created especially for the concert.

Ik hoopte een vlinder aan te treffen op de inmiddels volop bloeiende en geurende Buddleja davidii, maar dat werd 'm niet. Wel maakte ik kennis met een ander insect: Een kever met een hommelachtige beharing. Hij ziet er fraai getekend uit, maar geheel onschuldig is ie niet. Hij doet zich te goed aan de zachtere delen van bloemen en planten en richt daarmee schade aan. De Penseelkever vol in het licht.
